Pray for my Daughter

Postby Rob » October 6th, 2009, 11:06 am

I know this is not where this goes, but I want you to remember my daughter in prayer. Yesterday afternoon she was in a go-cart accident, when she ran into a park car. She has lost 3 teeth, and looks like her upper gum has an exposed fracture. We are at UK hospital waiting for them to tell us what they are going to do. Please cover Lauren in your prayers, and Anita & I.

Blessings,

Pastor Rob

We are at home tonight, thank you for your prayers. Her's the latest. Lauren has lost 3 teeth, she has a fracture of her upper jaw, but with all the swelling there is not much they can do with it because of all the tramua to her face. We have to go back to UK next week to see how she is healing, and hopefully do an impression of her mouth to get ready for her reconstruction surgery.

Again, thanks for all your prayers and I will keep you posted.

Blessings,

Pastor Rob

Thanks for all the prayers, Lauren rested very well last night. Here is another concern. Lauren is 10 and she really has a self-esteem problem with regards to her sister, and other girls as well, and now missing her teeth is more of a real challenge for Anita and I as parents. We are not sure at this point, if we will send her to school next week. As you know kids can be cruel, so pray for us that we continue to make the right decisions for her.

Blessings,

PR

Praying.

Keep her at Home! Have them bring her work home to her until she feels like she can handle it. Talk to the teachers and school and make arrangements.

In Jesus name touch this tough situation and make the path clear!

Talk to her about it, keeping her home is 100% acceptable, especially if that's what she wants, she'll probably get some sympathy and comfort from friends as well, which could even lift her self esteem, main thing is to make sure her teacher knows and can send the work home. is she in 5th or 6th now? if she's in one classroom all day, that class may send some get well cards or all sign something for her, that could be a boost to know her friends miss her.

We'll be praying for that as well, it can be harder to deal with at that age than the physical injury. Also let us know if there is anything she needs.
