Thorns are so unbecoming to him. Laurels are way more his motif.

Wow, that is obscene. And it's hardly good for democracy. We don't have a god; we have a man with feet of clay who needs to keep his head down to earth, like everyone else does. See, people on the left are as bad as people on the right. I've been trying to tell you guys. Now maybe you'll listen. :P

The ceremony for the painting has been cancelled due to tremendous public outrage.

Yes, it IS outrageous. The picture shows him wearing an American flag lapel pin, and a true likeness would not include it unless it was politically expedient to do so. (Plus the presidential seal is in English only. I mean, where's the SPANISH? They were so right to cancel this thing.)

Reading the link that dalebert posted from World Net Daily, the artist's statements show that his main interest is publicity. Well, I guess he got it. He said it was making a statement, but he leaves it up to everyone to figure out what they think it is. Now, that's the feeling I get when I listen to Obama sometimes   , but as for this schmuck of a painter, it doesn't wash. The guy's just looking for his 15 minutes of fame.

Shucks. I'm going to create something edgy then post it so that it gets spread around the globe and then replace it out with a gospel track!!

And a few Google Ads...
