Debate

Postby one love » September 26th, 2008, 3:33 pm

as Of 9:30 eastern time McCain needs to really pick up his pace, it is necessity. He is doing alright but to the average person that does not know much about politics would think Obama is doing better.

McCain needs to really get down and dirty with the differences they have period.

How many times has Sen. Obama said, "John is right"?

I'm tired of Sen. Obama calling Sen. McCain, "John" not Senator!! (Sorry, I didn't see this posted on another thread before I posted)

Zero is calling him Senator McCain now. I wonder what made him change b/c he was calling him John.

The stuttering and "John is right" seems to be a constant.

I think McCain has done better and Zero. Zero seems to be studied well now. But without his telepromter, he is not as eloquent.

What was it that Zero said about talks with other countries? He said something about direct tough negotiations. IS that right? If so, what does he consider to be direct tough negotiations? What does that mean to him?

McCain got under Obama's skin. Obama was visiably flustered several times.

One more thing, I cannot stand when people talk over people. Obama done it several times. It drives me crazy when the news people do the same thing. Usually it is the people who dissagree with the one being interviewed. COLMES is the worst.

I think it is disrespectful.

So who do yall think won?

McCain won this debate hands down.

Obama could only stick to his talking points and after McCain would give historical context and name names.. Obama could only reply with his original talking points.

He has no experience to draw upon and can only reply on prepared information. McCain has lived it.

McCain wins this first one. Hands down.

Obama almost attempted to make it seem as if he was talking to a old grandfather and it backfired. McCain picked it up and did very well, he got Obama upset and he could not respond well to that pressure.
How many times did Obama say "I agree with with Senator McCain"

Notice also that McCain dropped many world leaders names and showed his experience. I thought he was going to lose at first but he turned it around.

One more thing to add before I go and treat my wife on her birthday.

McCain camp should have allowed Palin to address the media like Biden about the debate. By continually sheltering her they are doing a disservice to her and us.

She can hold her on.

It makes it seem more of a political move now.

After following debates since I first voted in 1980 I have learned one thing:

The Democrats ALWAYS WIN.

It never changes.

It does not matter WHAT the Republican does, the media will tell you the Democrat won.
