It's funny... though most of it is 2 decades out of date in my world.

you surround them with your favor as with a shield." (Psalm 5:12)

I wish TC were still open, personally. Just a personal thing, I guess.

Sounds more like a TCOG recovery group. Most of that stuff went out in the 70's and 80's in COGOP.

that is funny because there was no real change until after the 80's just behind door discussions while then preaching the message that so many shamfulley want runa nd hide and act as if it is a cancer. The leaders that are held in such high regard preached the doctrine you so much dislike all through the 80's but worked differently privately.

1. Refrain from acronym usage (i.e. CPMA, WMB, ABM, BTI, VLB)

oh ok just call it some other name that operates in the same manner so we can say we are free from anything that relates to a past that so many are ashamed of.
2. Do not attend band meetings where musical instruments are not included.

Yes becuase prayer meeting are just so fruitless and of no use

4. Attend a church where seating accommodates more than 45 people.

a insulting and rediculous danny so you would not have pastored ummmm "sanctuary" none the less all churches start somewhere and small churches sometimes have the best spirits, some big churches do but none the lesss it is irrellevant to the number of people, joking or not

5. Do not give something to the church that you would otherwise throw
away.

I surely again think this is obsurd and degrating to those who work for the Lord and critisize it as a useless work becuase you may disagree with cogop, tcog, cog and whoever else, which I your friend am a part of but hey if you sent money, it would be useless

8. Burn your CPMA card.

Meaning behind this again makes no sense and further I guess going under another name to raise money makes it good as long as it does the expected goal, "run from or heritage"

9. Peel all COGOP paraphernalia from your automobile.

not sure this deserves a real response

10. Remove the Fields of the Wood picture from your living room wall',
and replace with family photos.

fields of the wood is a major monumental place of all of our heritage, Im proud of that and love t still go there.

12. Do not use vacation time to attend the General Assembly or other
COGOP functions. .

yeah because what a horrible thing to do take vacation time to spend time inworship service and particpate in the operating of your church

13. Do not depend upon physical contact with White Wing or church flag for healing.

never done so however do believe in prayer cloths

14. Sing songs not included in Banner Hymns (blue book).
yeah because for those that dont want smoke and strobe lights and jump up and down as people do in rock and roll concerts we are just not enlightened and back woods..correct

,
15. Try using term “pastor" during next business meeting instead of Bro.
Moderator".

uh the pastor is not always the one running and conducting the meeting

16 .Realize other cities have great highway access and motels sufficient to handle Assembly delegates.

I think it should be realize where you can get the most people from the church in the general assembly

17. If minister, skip a month of reporting. See what it feels like.

i do feel reporting every month is a little often i would like ot see by monthly

18. Try another key during song-service besides "G".

again that matters why

20 Stop referring to your three terms of BTI as you collegiate career.

sorry bti was not a good experience for you I saw some of the greatest experiences i have ever seen, even people getting saved in dennys and having revival break out.......

24. Try having communion without taking your socks and shoes off.

confused here are you mocking us for feet washing now :?:

25. Send your kids to Youth Camp without having a yard sale to pay for
it.

what  so those that dont have funds should not go

26. Stop giving "Upon This Rock" as Christmas gifts.

yes because why read ones heritage what a shame

. .
28. Try praying out loud, prophesying, or giving an interpretation of tongues, without using King James English.
I will accept what the holy ghost says however he does so

29. Try paying your pastor more than $600.00 per month.

and who would pay it GH....

I get the joke here so with my response i will most likely get everyone upset rather then you dont worry.

I CAN'T NOT BELEIVE ANYONE WOULD MOCK SOMETHING THAT MEANT SO MUCH TO THOUSANDS IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ANY OF COGOP/COG ETC...THEN JUST LEAVE IT ALONE BUT TO MOCK AND YOUR COGOPA I THINK YOU HAVE CROSSED THE LINE.
There ar ealot of things i don't agree with and have never seen in the teachings but to put into words as you have you need prayer. And anyone that thinks this is funny needs prayer....I really do not care what anyone has to say back i just know that the BIBLE says there are wolves in sheeps clothing......................
