LOL! This is great. Does majority rule here at Jude2???? I hope. Is anyone getting anything out of those discussions anyway?????? Anything besides an ulcerated stomach lining????? Irritable bowell syndrome????

How many times can I vote? Will there be a recall? Did you write clear ballot language?

I wish we could resolve the issue as it is a great detriment to the furthering of the gospel (i.e. the opinion - if D&R are going to Hell, why waste our time with them). However, this issue will never be resolved in the minds of all Christians with the same outcome. I have assurance from God that I am forgiven (whether or not I was justified - which is debateable) and am depending on Him to let me know if I am mistaken.

So.....since we will never resolve this, yes, we could throw this topic in the river somewhere. But it will never truly sink. And I hate how when it is brought up on the cogop board, someone will say "we're not going to talk d&r again" - and they always do anyway.

AND there may be someone new to the board who is in this situation that needs another perspective besides the one offered at the cogop board. I guess we should remain "open" to this topic....whether we want to or not.?????

I can't disagree with anything you said Kenya. I don't want my comments (meant in humor) to seem disrespectful to your position - which by the way, you know I share (your position). I guess the only way I truly wish it could be dropped, is if everyone were to come to same understanding we have. :-)

I wish we could finally, once and for all fix this in the church. Most of our leaders and ministers seem to feel one one, and the official stance is another which puts us in a strange situation where we either are being disobedient to Assembly rulings, or to what we see as God's will.

Many interesting ways have come up to get around the issue, but ignoring it, or carrying a separate membership roll don't really change the fact that officially we are telling people they are not saved.

I chose the "take a flying leap" option above because I think it is ridiculous that a few people are holding up the progress on this while what seems to be the majority of the church has accepted we were wrong and moved on.
