Our insurance is with Alfa and have investigated some options. Neither of those came close.

We have a parsonage insured for $175K, and a church building for about $110K with Liability riders for the Pastors and the typical church stuff. We just renewed in January at $1303.00 for the year.

We are with Brotherhood Mutual. We have about 2 million on our church facility, over 200 thousand on parsonage. There is also all the liability coverage for the church ministers, the usual medical coverage and probably other coverage that I just can't think of at this time, since don't have the policy here at home.

Our premium is a little over $4,000.00 a year. Brotherhood Mutual has given us extremely good service for many years.

What has your experience been with your insurance coverage? GuideOne, Church Mutual, and Brotherhood Mutual seem to be covering the majority of US churches. Would you mind sharing who is providing your coverage, for an informal poll?

church mutual - why? because that is what we had when I joined. I will be taking to the finance and stewardship and then to a church business meeting to see if I can even ask for quotes for change (I am the treasurer).

An aside here: GUIDEONE has a special clause in their auto that if you are in an accident going to or from church you have special benefits.

I cant recall what exactly they are but I thought I'd mention it.
