Don't understand some people...............Your thoughts?

I heard on the news this morning that a couple is suing the NFL over a Super Bowl goof.

They were 2 of 400 people that had $800 dollar seats that were not ready at the Super Bowl. The NFL placed them in a hospitality area that smashed them in together and gave them a terrible view.

I understand their anger. I do. But what I don't understand is how they are acting now.

The NFL has given them three options:

Triple the value of both tickets in return. They didn't want that.

A trip to a future Super Bowl of their choice, all expenses paid. They don't want that.

$5000 dollars apiece....NOPE, they don't want that either.

The couple says that none of these three options is good enough.

REALLY? Am I way off here to think they are being spoiled, childish, and ridiculous? I understand that they were disappointed and put out. But really? Maybe a head on a charger will be adequate compensation?

Any thoughts?

Personally, I think they ought to have to reverse time and split the stadium open and add extra seats to allow them to watch the Super Bowl. If I was a judge, that's what I'd do, then right before I sent them back in time I'd say, "Oh, yeah. Packers win."

If they actually make it to court I hope the judge rules in their favor and gives them the value of their tickets and nothing else. Each side pays their own legal fees. The NFL has gone far beyond reasonable in their attempt to satisfy these folks. It looks like they are looking for a big payday because the NFL has deep pockets. Judges need to take a hint from Barney Fife and "nip it in the bud."

Worst-case I would probably take the $5,000 apiece and call it a day. I mean, how bad of an ROI is $10,000 on an initial $1,600 investment?

Take the future tickets or the $5,000. Shoot, the Steelers will be back very soon anyhow.
