In 6th grade, the students do a "Nations Fair" which is much like a science fair only it involves research of another country.

Part of the project is to make a food dish native to that country and to dress in traditional dress for the fair.

My son chose Scotland.

He chose Scotland BECAUSE one of the guys at church has a kilt and my son thought that was totally cool!

Irish, not Scottish, but we are getting ready to run to MacGuire's in Destin for supper. I love me some Shepherd's Pie. My 6 year old's freckles are showing from all the sun today. 8)
