New Name

As of today, we have changed our name from Yuba City Nazarene Church to


Point Hope Nazarene



We now serve a total of 4 campuses in 4 communities and the other churches were feeling a little disconnect to think of themselves as Yuba City Nazarene Church @ Live Oak or whichever town they are in.


This way, we are ALL united in our common name and purpose of being an Acts 2:42 church.

Also, with our pastor serving as the Coordinator for southwest Europe (Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, etc.) we aren't tied to "Yuba City". We can be Point Hope Naz. whether here in the US, Spain, etc.


Also, since we want to be a place of Hope for the world and a place that points people to their ONLY source of HOPE, the name is perfect for us.

A dear, dear friend of mine pastors 2 closely located Nazarene churches in South Carolina; he's been there for about 2 years, it seems, after having served as pastor of a Nazarene church in Oregon for several years. He's a Bama boy, though! He and his wife are fantastic folks.
