Don't lash out with attacks or you are going to be considered a nut no matter how noble your intentions to change the "insert issue here". You will also not change others honest opinions based on each real life experiences by impugning or making fun of them (or you will probably just get that style back). Some here on this board are excellent at returning FIRE themselves as they are trained COGOP (learned from the BEST - LOL) and they REALLY, REALLY attempt to keep it under control. But they are really good people.. searching to do what is right.. like all of us.

If you want to highlight an issue.. Just cite a link or awareness you think reinforces your causes and let that OWN person come to his or her own opinion. Don't try to covertly manipulate a "Gotcha" moment to get a specific reaction. The people here are really intelligent and can discern instantly. IF that person doesn't agree with you. So what.. we all will not agree.

Also in your online and offline life.. don't play the martyr. That is a red flag for deeper issues. The world doesn't revolve around you and you are not the center of attention.. Trust me.
