M.R.= Marital Relations

Okay.... FOR THE RECORD! This is NOT about Danny. We are good. However.. I think it is a good discussion for all men to see... whether married or soon to be.

Us girls get married because we're so in love and want to be a wife and cook your meals and take care of you and all that goopy stuff. At some point it typically turns us from Sarah the loved wife to Hagar the concubine.

Sarah loved her husband so much that she called him Lord. She was so heart broken not to be able to bear him kids that she offered him another. I am sure she enjoyed doing things for her husband. Abraham sounded like a wonderful man in the way he was with his children, the way he listened to God, etc... I am sure he appreciated everything he had, including his wife.

Hagar... she was the slave that parented a child with Abraham. Things were expected of her. I am sure she got weary of her JOB especially after becoming a parent.

Us wives want to be like SARAH but many times are left feeling very much like Hagar. We are unappreciated, worked to death, and then expected to have M.R.!

Treat your wife well... with appreciation and love... and you WILL be rewarded. Let's discuss. This poll is for a general feel of the board and all the wifeyz.

Maybe those that are offended are not having enought marital relations and therefore offended at the thought!

Actually, I am more offended that you used a delicate euphemism like "M.R." instead of saying "lovemaking" or just "sex."

Amen Bishop.....PREACH!! I don't soften it from the pulpit...even if children are present. I feel that they are so bombarded with the WRONG examples that I'd be doing wrong to sugar coat it from the CORRECT perspective.
