I'll let you know whether it was "crap" or not when Pastor Ables admits or denies that he Preached hearsay and superstition as Biblical truth.

If he didnt, I'll apologize.

You need to apologize. Here is my initial post that has you so bent out of shape:

I am preaching a five part series on Spiritual Warfare and was looking for illustrations, etc. I asked pastors due to my experience through the years, but anyone is welcome to share.

Paul, I find your above quote interesting as my grandmother used to tell of a service where a demon was cast out and the spirit exited, manifested as half of a cat, and ran through the church.

I only shared here about what my grandmother told me. I can't even remember whether or not she witnessed it herself. I do believe that it could have happened.

You are the one who made the assumption that this was shared in the first installment of my series on spiritual warfare (which it wasn't). Apology accepted.

I will admit that it's possible that I shared something that you wouldn't have agreed with though, simply due to the fact that I believe (as Scooter stated) we can't limit God or Satan's every move to the written Word. The Bible is clear that many spiritual works were done by Jesus that "all the books of the world couldn't contain" (John 21:25). Neither of us can fathom just what John was assessing with that statement.

One example from my own Christian walk of something not necessarily in the Bible came during a Leslie Porter service when I was only 18. To be brief, I was slain in the Spirit and then came up to find myself jumping pews and pleading with people to repent. It was a surreal experience, but very effective. The altar filled that night with people seeking God for salvation. I have no clue why the Spirit worked in this way and I have no scripture to validate it, however it happened - I was the one who lived it.

Pastor Ables, just because you say that both the Holy Ghost and the devil have the power to TRANSFORM themselves into things doesn't make it so.

Give me Scriptural support that the SPIRIT ever did such?

You ignored my point about he descended like a dove descends but was not actually a dove. If HE had came as a dove then the onlookers would have thought a bird had landed on Jesus but NO, they knew it was the very Spirit of God.

I have given scripture. You just seem to disagree with my examples. That's fine. I am not attempting to indoctrinate you.

I did not ignore your point about "like a dove". Though well taken, I disagree with your point. The Spirit of God is represented as coming as a dove, and fire as well. I personally do not believe these are the only forms that God's Spirit can reveal himself to man. God is sovereign and can do as he pleases without man's approval. I'm almost sure this "heavenly dove" and/or "heavenly fire" was much more splendorous than any normal manifestation. Let us not forget there were other accompanying signs at each respective occurrence.
