I have the unlimited plan because I was grandfathered in. But my son wasn't. He pays $25 a month and has never went over his data plan. And my son is always on the internet!

depends on how it is used. I will commonly get HUGE bills cause I go over the limit. last month it was by over 2 gig.

as to the antenna problem, I was specifically talking about the ipone4 issue that requres a case (or other way for the hand to not touch physically the edge of the device, that is not an issue with the previous model nor with any of the Blackberry's I have had).

And yes, the other issue is ma "inhales with great force"! i can sit at my couch and have full bars, then the next minute had a dropped call and zero bars/searching. no change in how i hold it (the last time, I wasn't even holding it. it was on the end table and I was using blue tooth.

so yes the phone is way kewl - enough said. but if teh service SUX, then its no longer a phone, and you might as well just get a phone with real service and get a seperate ipod touch or an ipad; it's that simple. I have been trying to get back to blackbeery at work now, but i haven't had the phone long enough yet to make a transfer again.

This is affectionally called the "Death Grip" :lol:
And apparently all smart phones suffer from these attenuation issues

Sorry, I disagree that it occurs on all smart phones. It seems. That apple is pointing elsewhere to keep attention away from their problem. Which still does not address the other issues, as there is no defense.

Okay, I use Verizon...and love the service I get... I am looking to upgrade to a Blackberry... Anyone, like or dislike it... The reviews on the Verizon site is making me question whether I really want one or not...

...despite the evidence?

It is just a matter of degree, and if used with the Apple designed bumpers (read: minimal drop protection/antenna insulators) there is no significant signal drop.

"For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield." (Psalm 5:12)

what evidence? the links to two models that macuser provided from Apple? and as i mentioned if you apply the band-aids to the iphone4, it reduces it.

Cindy,

I have a Verizon blackberry and I love mine. I have a bb curve, but would like to have the tour. It came out after I got my curve.
