I'd like to ask you about your coffee. Brand preference, whole bean or ground, your favorite additive and any other information you'd like to share.

Also, if you grind your own coffee, do you have a preference of grinder brands?

If in a can, Don Francisco is my brand of choice.

I have been told at our Mens Retreat that I drink Girlie coffee because I dont like it straight. I'm ok with that, I'm comfortable in my coffee skin. I"ll usually put cream (not the powdered stuff) and Splenda. If I hit the coffee stand it is a Grande Sugar-Free carmel latte just about every time, except for the holidays.

I prefer Seattle's Best Coffee over Starbucks, but there are way more Starbucks coffee shops than SBC, so I dont get it that often. I stay away from the sexpresso shops out here (the bikini barista stands). Lines are too long...

Dunkin Donuts is my preference, and their beans are readily available in the store! But I usually head to McD's or Coffee Crossings (local)..

With lotsa cream and artificial sweetener..

I am now have to drink decaf because of cardiac issues, I haven't been able to find decaf Kona, I like sugar and cream in my coffee. I treat myself to a decaf grande raspberry mocha latte at least once a week. Believe it or not this is very heallthy - milk for calcium, raspberries are fruit, dark chocolate is good for your heart.

black, normally. sometimes I like to perk it up with a flavor creamer, but usually only a little and as a special occasion. pumpkin spice around Thanksgiving and Christmas, peppermint mocha in the winter now and again.

But normally just black. oh and I am a consumer, not a connoisseur. So as long as it's mostly drinkable, I will drink it. scrape the fuzzy growth off from the day before and nuke it, and it's all good. instant is okay, but prefer brewed.

I am mostly down to about one cup a day, though. used to drink several posts throughout the day. then cut back to a pot a day. now one cup. and I can stop anytime without headaches, etc. I have. many times when I go on vacation or trips, etc, I will go for days and weeks without the juice of the bean.

in the summer, I will make a tall ice coffee in the morning. in the winter, just a cup of hot java. can drink it any time, but usually in the morning about a couple hours after I have been up and around. (about 6am or so).

We grind our own beans that come from Kona each month. I also keep a bag of ground decaf Kona for those nights I would love a cup of joe. I like just a little half n half in mine, but occasionally drink it black. I LOVE the Kona coffee we get each month, it is air roasted, and tastes like no other!!! We have been receiving it each month for 4 years.

Maxwell House is my favorite, black and strong. Can even drink it at night and sleep good.

About a year and 1/2 ago, my wife bought a Keurig single cup coffee maker. I made fun of her a little and complained at the cost. BUT, I love it. I buy in bulk off the internet and most mornings I get a perfect fresh cup of coffee. Always fresh brewed right before I get it in 60 secs. I drink it black some, and sometimes with vanilla creamer. I use it more than her. It is still a little expensive, but we wasted so much coffee with the 12 cup maker anyway so I don't know that it is really more expensive and it's always freshly opened and brewed
