• North American Mission Boardof the Southern Baptist Convention has a lot of PowerPoint files called "Factoids" for free download. Their use is not restricted to Baptist churches, though some of them are denomination-specific.
• A collection of 0ver 700 JPG images of beautiful art/photography illustrations of scripture FREE for church use.

There is an alternative to the "pay" worship display programs IF you are willing to work with a beta version and give feedback on results.

OpenSong

OpenSong is an opensource program being developed by a fellow for small organizations. It has a few bugs, but has versions for Mac and Windows.

The biggest bugs I have found to date involve the bacgrounds. Currently you have to use a .jpg file. plain backgrounds won't work in XP. Also, when displaying a scripture, the image is hard coded currently and is not easily changed. (I figured out a hack, but...)

The author is working on import capabilities now and hopes to have the ability to import text from outher display programs as well as CCLIs program.

It's a bit rough, but if you don't mind a bare bones product in development, it's pretty good for the price

Another good freebie is PowerWorship

This tool builds PowerPoint slides from a predefined list of songs and makes it easy to incorporate regular PowerPoint presentation into the worship program without juggling programs or plugins.

It used to be a "pay for" solution, but the publisher recently released it for free distribution.

Look over the site and see what you think.

BTW, they also have a CCLI converter for importing SongSelect downloads.
