Chuck

Postby Paully_44 » November 13th, 2007, 10:58 am

This one has probably become my favorite of the new shows this year, with Journyman a very close second.

I really like the songs they play on Chuck. I have tried to find a site that give a listing of the songs played but coming up dry. Does anyone know of sites that post soundtracks played on TV Shows?

I like Chuck, too, Paully. I just discovered it this season, but it's really cool. The thing going on between Chuck and Sarah is awesome. Chuck is in love but honors the boundaries that Sarah puts up. Sarah is in love but can't accept that she is. It makes for some powerful moments of unrequited love, deepened friendship, and validated respect.

I saw the one this week where Sarah thought Chuck had been killed by the car bomb--and the look on her face when Chuck popped up all innocent-like. You know that Sarah just wanted to hug him and cry that he was still alive, but she held herself back, and Chuck, probably knowing how Sarah felt, made light of it. Baldwin and Strahovski play that complexity so well.

Yep, I love the complexity between Chuck & Sarah. I really hope the writes dont ever let them actually "hookup".

I have been watching this show since day one, and it has grown into a cant miss for me. Good writing, character development and soundtrack.

I am with you, Paully. This show rivals 24 as my favorite now. It makes me laugh like very few shows have ever been able to do. Just the right tickles to the limbic system to make it hard to stop snickering. Awesome, awesome, awesome! What a lead-up tonight to next week's grand finale, don't you think?

my favorite line for me last night..... "I need for you to be awesome for me right now, can you do that, can you be awesome for me."

I am glad that chuck and sarah were interupted. I like the tension each week wondering, will they or wont they. Going to be a good cliff hanger.

I heard on NPR tonight that Chuck is "on the bubble," meaning that it might get axed next season. They said something about Jay Leno going on five nights a week, which shrinks the prime time "real estate," so some shows have to go. I didn't know Leno was getting a new program. I like Leno, but I like Chuck waaaaaaay better. I hope it doesn't happen.

Tonight's episode was awesome, as usual! I loved Casey with the paratroopers. He was like a kid, in his element! So funny.

Great season finale. Our family will be so dissappointed if Chuck is not on next year.

I'm using that one! It was even funnier when he was cornered by chuck's sister with the same line! :)

Decision on hold

Too bad. I hope they make the right decision and make it soon.

Narrowly avoided cancellation. Some reports say that the cast will be downsized for budgetary reasons.

Just read that they are moving Heroes to 8 pm to run until February, and then Chuck will take it's place in February and run for the rest of the season.

I noticed not many networks believe in repeats anymore. Once a show has done all it's episodes, they replace it. Probably because of HULU and the other websites
