Been an active member of COGOP for 28 years. Most of the report is great. We should sell the property on Keith Street, and utilize the TC campus. All that office space was needed prior to modern communications, but now it is not needed. FOW does not need to be sold. Just a little more effort in prom...

Amen Dolfan. Rascal, "I Saw The Light" is a great song, but it is just scratching the surface of the Gospel and social songs Hank wrote. He wrot hundreds of them, some of them very deep. Hank was raised in church...there every time the doors were opened. He knew the right way, but he chose...

I got heavily into family history about 12 years ago, and worked on it about 3 years. Some research was done the old fashioned way, court house records, spending time at surrounding libriaries. But i did most of it online. Ancestry.com was not helpful to me, but like I said that was years ago and it...

I did a lot of research recently on ukes. I want one, but still have not purchased. New ukes go from the $20 FirstAct at WalMart, up to the $2000 or more Martin. Pastor Gary is right about the Kamaka. It is the top brand, along with Martin. Martin ukes don't seem to loose any value. Older ones from ...

I can understand why many want to have an institution like TC up and running to represent the COGOP like Lee represents COG or the AG schools represent their churches. But let's be honest for a minute about the track record that the COGOP has in running these things. How much time, energy and finan...

Saw this on the Weather channel last night. I also hope this does not cause Pastor Don and family any problems.

That highway is rather nerve racking in places anyway....now when I travel it, I will be worried about rock slides.

Silly was the wrong word to use. Sorry about that. But still, the Opry membership list is a group of living individuals that still perform. It is not a museum or retirement center for senior country singers. It is a "for profit" business that tries to offer a show featuring the biggest nam...

Hank was fired from the Opry mostly because of his alcoholism and no shows. He was told to straighten up and could come back. He died from a mixture of drugs and alcohol before that could happen. It seems silly to re-instate him. No one stays a member of the Opry after they die. That slot is filled ...

I think dolfan totally nailed it. Excellent sample of 70's music. "Shaft" is the first thing I thought of.

Shellie wrote:After Huckabee having Lynyrd Skynyrd as a guest and rockin' out with them, I think I would vote for him!

That is funny. I said the same thing last night when I watched him playing bass guitar on "Sweet Home Alabama". I announced to my family that we have to get this man elected!

I think it is great. I believe they are a wonderful family.

Since the changes, the log in "save feature" is not working for me... I have to retype my name and password at every log in, etc... pa Try clearing the browser history. Tools, Delete browsing history, check box password, delete. Close all browsers. Then open browser,Go back to delete brow...

I know you were asking Tracy, but thought I would respond also. We use Abeka. They have curriculum from pre-school through grade 12. It is packaged in "teacher kits" and "student kits". You can teach it totally home school, or you can sign up for the accredited academy they opera...

Will be praying for you and your family Pastor Gary. I think this should be taken very seriously.

From the news the last few days, we now know that North Korea is totally rogue, and not listening to even China or Russia.
