Praying for my COGOP

Postby Phil Hoover » July 23rd, 2014, 12:48 pm

Even though I requested to be removed from membership many years ago (almost 17), I still very much love the people, the mission, and the ministry of the Church of God of Prophecy...

Some of the most precious people on the planet to me.

People who love(d) me, pray for me, encourage me, and let me know that I'm still "family..."

That's how it should be..
There is a ROCK between me and a hard place. His name is JESUS.

I have nowhere near the number of friends in COGOP that you do, but I still love it and pray for its mission and growth. I still believe it is a vital Pentecostal voice, and that voice is more important now than ever. I ditto your sentiments.

PastorP,

I do believe Scott was funning with you and you misunderstood.

I must be a little slow, but I don't remember what you are referring to. I really don't have a problem with anyone.

Sorry Pastor P, I failed to read the date of your last post and was referring to a post from a year ago. I probably needed a nap when I posted, lol!

LEAVE OUR OVERSEER ALONE! Now that I have quit shouting, there is no one that I feel would be better, but I don't want to lose a good overseer.

Well he didn't become GO, but you lost him anyway. I think we are blessed to have him and NAGP.

I am currently in my 49th year of Pastoral Service. In all these years, Bro. Coalter is the one that I will always think of when I hear the words faithful, kind, integrity. There are many other adjectives to describe his service to the state of South Carolina as State Overseer. He will be a great asset to the COGOP in the office of Presbyter for North America.
