maybe or maybe not Phil but I do know what the climate has been like in Middle Tennessee for the past 34 years. People can also measure tide levels if they live on the coast and therefore prove that this man made global warming nonsense is a farce.
Climate change happens because obviously God set in motions the seasons, sun flares, jet streams, etc.
I ask who caused the mini ice age?
Then i asked who caused it to thaw? _________________ I have piped unto you, and ye have not danced! |

Yes that is true, but most are not idiots eithers, well maybe one or two, but most can recognize a sham when they see it and will only drink just so much kool-aid before they spit it out. _________________ God Bless |

Phil, lets say that climate change (global warming) IS the fault of man,......so what!! The downfall of our entire planet is the fault of man, more specifically because of man's sin. And guess what? There's no fixin' it by going green!
The planet probably is heating up, the lake of fire is gonna be one hot mamma jamma!
But seriously, the way I read the scriptures things are definitely gonna be far worse before they get better. And no amount of reducing your carbon footprint is going to stop that. _________________ "My eyes are ever on the Lord, for only He will release my feet from the snare." Psalm 25:15

NOAA: Blizzard Rearranges Climate Change Announcement
http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2010/02/08/noaa-blizzard-rearranges-climate-change-announcement/
| Quote: | As D.C. continued to dig out from Snowmageddon and is keeping an eye on another storm system, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration was busy making a climate change announcement.
NOAA, part of the Department of Commerce, is going to be providing information to individuals and decision-makers through a new NOAA Climate Service office. “More and more, Americans are witnessing the impacts of climate change in their own backyards, including sea-level rise, longer growing seasons, changes in river flows, increases in heavy downpours, earlier snowmelt and extended ice-free seasons in our waters. People are searching for relevant and timely information about these changes to inform decision-making about virtually all aspects of their lives,” the release says.
Earlier snowmelt? That would be nice.
Turns out the release was planned prepared ahead of the snowstorm, which shut federal agencies today and forced its senders to hold a press conference by telephone instead of at the National Press Club.
It’s not the first time inclement weather has put a chill on official efforts to tackle climate change. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had to leave the Copenhagen summit early in December to get back to D.C. before the blizzard known as Snowpocalypse grounded all flights. |
Zowie. These Washington Idiots just don't know when to stop do they?

Great Question: Then make it all voluntary to participate. Get the Govt out of the way and let the free market decide if they want this product x or not. No Green taxes or Green Cap n Trade mandates on things completely unproven.
Note: This has nothing to do with reasonable recycling or cleaning up behind oneself. _________________ Chris -

Proof that God has a sense of Humor.
First Copenhagen Record Blizzard and now Washington Record Blizzard. TWICE... so much that it shut down the The Senate Committee meeting to study Global Warming Impacts.

why don't you run for office? We need well-informed people in Washington, since you obviously think NONE of the current elected officials are well-informed.
Of course, we could always have "Sister hopey-changey" running the show.

I could accept the Earth was warming, but I do not think there is nothing that man can do to accelerate or slow it down. I think the sun's activity was very high (more sunspots than normal) from 2000-2008, but lately the sun is not as active. So, we have cooling now.
I think most of it is cyclical, I think it is a little arrogant to think we as man can control and change the climate.
Just wonder, has anyone read Michael Crichton's State of Fear? I think it is very critical of how most scientists fund their research. Mostly creating fear to get money for their research. Seems like this may have been happening in the whole climategate scandal. I think there is a a whole section of notes referring to how research is funded. |
MOLE... not calling you out by no means... but I have to wonder how we are supposed to know how dramatic it really is. I mean think about it. you can see the temp on two different banks on the same corner and it would be 2 to 3 degrees different. You can see that at the tv stations it is one temp but the local weather station it is a different. People it is 2010... and we can not get the exact temp for an area. but yet we are supposed to be able to look back a hundred years and think that their method of getting the temp was so accurate or that the records they kept were accurate as well.
I remember my grand father had a test tube type thing on a pole out in the yard that he used to measure water so he would know how much water were on his crops. I am not sure but I am thinking that is not the most accurate method and that in in the 70's I am thinking ole Honest Abe did have to know the exact temp to know if he needed to put another log on the fire.
it is all a scam. |

Phil, God love you my friend... but this isn't about me. Whether I run or not doesn't discount... "Man Made Global Warming" as the largest political scam of the 21st century. It's main design is to fleece the American worker.
Surely you can agree on that? Just take a quick step outside? Or does your political ideology trump your common sense?
