Slow Cooker Ham & Potato

Postby rjc » March 1st, 2009, 11:36 am

It is windy and cold here today, it was supposed to rain but so far it hasn't so I thought I would cook this.

To feed approximately 4 - 6 people

In a 3 - 5 quart slow cooker after you have sprayed it with cooking oil layer the following:

4 - 5 large red potatos cut in cubes (wash them and leave the skin on)
1 1/2 cups of ham cut up in cubes
3/4 cup of cube cheese (american, velveta, cheddar, colby, etc)
2 tablespoons of minced onion
pepper

Mix together 2 cans of cream of celery soup and 2 1/4 cups of milk. Pour this over the potato and ham and cook in slow cooker on low for 5 - 6 hours. If you want it thicker reduce the amount of milk and if you want it more like soup add some more milk or a little water.

I love this with garlic toast and a salad.

I had already posted it here so I copied and pasted.

1/2 stick butter
2 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup milk
3 beaten eggs
2 cups cooked macaroni
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Mix all ingredients together in a crock pot and cook in crock pot for 3 hours.
There never was a horse that couldn't be rode and there never was a cowboy that couldn't be throwed.
