Does anyone have any quick easy recipes for side dishes that could be served for Thanksgiving meal?

I have a sweet potato casserole dish and a pumpkin cake that people beg me to make. My recipes are at home. I will post them this evening.

PS...I HATE sweet potatoes so I've never tasted the casserole, but everyone that eats these two dishes rave about them.

I HAVE to have this at all holiday meals. I often eat a bowl of this as a meal when it's time for leftovers! And it's SUPER easy to make too.

Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients:

1 can (10 3/4 oz.)Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
Dash ground black pepper
4 cups cooked cut green beans
1 1/3 cups French Fried Onions

Directions:

MIX soup, milk, black pepper, beans and 2/3 cup onions in 1 1/2-qt. casserole.

BAKE at 350°F. for 25 min. or until hot.

STIR . Sprinkle with remaining onions. Bake 5 min.

TIP: Use 1 bag (16 to 20 oz.) frozen green beans, 2 pkg. (9 oz. each) frozen green beans, 2 cans (about 16 oz. each) green beans or about 1 1/2 lb. fresh green beans for this recipe.

I was going to suggest the Sweet Potato Casserole also. My family doesn't think it's Thanksgiving without it.

I have a Praline Sweet Potato casserole that is to die for! ;) I'll post it if anyone is interested.

Also I already posted the Corn Casserole that I always serve for holidays, it's a huge hit and very easy to make!

Your family may have already made plans. But, when I host Thanksgiving, I make the 1 main thing and everyone else brings the sides. I usually make the turkey. I figure if I am having it at my house, they can do something. No one should have to do everything. Just my .02!!

Usually when I do dinner at home I do all the cooking except for the pies. My daughter anad grandkids were suposed to my son-in-law's famil this year but they just called to tell me they are coming here. The best part is they are going to do all the cooking this year, except for the stuffing. I'm not sure if I'm happy or sad.
