Postby deb » October 15th, 2008, 1:00 pm

1 c. long grain rice
1 can Campbell's beef broth
1 can Campbell's french onion soup
1/2 stick margarine/butter

Cook as you normally do slow cooking rice.

My family loves it!

It makes about 2 cups cooked. I have a family of 5 (3 grown boys) and it has always been plenty.

I have for a long, long time made my rice with beef or chicken broth and of course 'butter.' Now Deb, I am going to use your recipe, it sounds good and we like rice.
God Bless,
Jan

If someone were to pay you ten cents for every kind word you ever spoke and collect five cents for every unkind word, would you be rich or poor?

Hope you enjoy it.

As a side note, it actually tells you to use an entire stick of butter - but I think that is kind of overkill - you can adjust to your preference.
