Poverty Stew

INGREDIENTS:
1-1/2 lbs. hamburger meat
1 small onion, chopped
1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 15 oz. can beef broth (optional)
Beans in a 15 oz can
As many cans and kinds of canned beans as you want. Pinto beans, Ranch Style beans, navy beans, Black eyed peas, Great Northern beans, black beans, kidney beans, garbanzo beans, etc.

DIRECTIONS:
1. Mix all beans and Spices to taste.
2. Brown hamburger meat with onion in a Dutch oven. Drain well.
3. Add the beans (undrained), beef broth, and tomatoes.
4. Add any spices your family likes, to taste like minced garlic or garlic powder, chili powder, or cumin.
5. Simmer until heated through. The longer it simmers, the better it is.
