I gotta Wii

Postby Susie Hamilton » January 15th, 2008, 4:29 pm

No I don't have to go potty. I got a Wii on Ebay today and will get it in a few days. Looking forward to it. Looked at the Xbox360 and PS3 but wanted the Wii for the physical interaction rather than looking at a screen and pushing buttons.

If it doesn't come with teh Wii Remote Jackets, go here http://www.nintendo.com/whatsnew/detail ... EQweFFdtSM and see about ordering them. They are/were free when I ordered them and it gives the Wiimote some cushion should you let it slip out of your hands

Teach, I think that you would be great with the Wii, I just don't have the moves/energy for one. However, we are enjoying our new X-Box360....the games sure are expensive for it. We still use the PS2 alot, mainly because the games for it are affordable.

It is a new game system by nintendo that uses a joystick that responds to your movement so that you are basically playing virtually

My son has had just about all of the nintendo game systems thru the years but he Wii is the first that has caught my attention. LOL

One of the kewlest things is it has wireless network built in and with it you can actually surf the internet etc..

Also it has the ability with a network connection to purchase download and play any of the legafcy nintendo games . My son purchased i believe Donkey KONG and some others for liek 5 bucks etc.

If I am not mistaken all the game controllers are wireless. and like Teach said it is almost virtual You can even play tennis with the right game controller etc.
