1. Alabama - how can anyone argue that this team is not #1? They maybe the first back to back champion we have had in years

2. Oregon - bye week and they still scored 50 points!

3. Florida - I think the 'ole ball coach gets them Saturday

4. Kansas State - maybe the class of the Big XII

5. The Ohio State - they keep winning their bowl game every week. 2nd best coach in the country!

6. notre dame - they get every call in every game they are the duke of football. I hate nd. I promise you if nd played Satan and his demons I would root for Satan!

7. Oregon St. Maybe a great civil war bowl game this year.

8. LSU. Good win last night. But they will lose one maybe 2 more regular season games

9. Southern Cal they maybe finding their mojo.

10. South Carolina. The best in the east they will prove it next week in the swamp when the skin a big green lizard.

1. Oregon.
2. Alabama. I stick by my earlier rationale, here. Missouri is not a complete team. We did not learn much from Bama yesterday. I was more satisfied with the run blocking, but penalties and fumbles ..... deluge or not ... cannot happen vs good teams like LSU and Mississippi State. I remain firmly in the 'lets wait and see' category.
3. K. State. WVU can still beat this team. Football. Latin for "crazy, dude." I remain unsold on Florida right here just yet. Lets talk after the SC game next week.
4. Florida
5. LSU/S. Carolina tie. Next week should sort this out somewhat.
7. Oklahoma.
8. Mississippi State. Undefeated. No controversy. Just playing and winning. Haven't toppled giants yet, but neither has anyone ranked above them, except maybe Florida.
9. Florida State.
10. So Cal.

I think Stanford got gipped. I rate that as a ND loss. I know the powers that be will do whatever is necessary to put ND into BCS contention. That does not matter in my poll.

I will probably not rank Ohio State since they are ineligible.

I was underwhelmed with Oregon State vs BYU. Too close a game with the Fighting Romneys who are down players to injury.
