I think that's a pretty good guess, pastorbps. I think either Bama or LSU wins the West, though. Tenn 3rd in the East? Mmmmm. I'm not biting on that one.
After watching Auburn against MSU on Thursday night, I was underwhelmed. Cam Newton is a really good player, but he's really all Auburn has on offense right now. Michael Dyer will develop over the season, but he's not there yet. Compare him to SC's Marcus Lattimore --- I know, it's hard to. If Newton goes down, which could happen the way they run him (Auburn relied on draw plays heavily), you can put a fork in 'em.
Well, there goes my plan to go outside and mow. Rain just started pouring. I just finished watching UGA and SC moments ago. I should've mowed instead. Yikes.
Anyway, South Carolina looks very good through two games. Florida? Man. They've got some work to do. Right now, the way they're playing, if they don't step it up, I think S. Carolina looks like the frontrunner in the East. Although UGA just lost to SC, it's a 3 horse race in the East between those 2 and UF. Tennessee still has too much to rebuild from after the completely disastrous one year of Lane Kiffin.
Now watching Spurrier's post game interview. He's extremely satisfied with ol' Lattimore.
