I tried to E-Mail you the other day and never got anything back. :( Are you the YellowRose from COGOP chat? If so, we met down at the COGOP General Assembly in 2000! You came to the computer room area and visited me, remember? (Or do I have the wrong YellowRose?)

Feel Right At Home

Postby dbserv » January 29th, 2003, 7:49 pm

For some reason, I didn't get the option to vote. It took me straight to the results when I clicked on this topic.

But, I feel right at home.

Thanks PG for all you've done and for all you are going to do.

Now, not to start a whole new chain of problems, but is it appropriate to make a donation to help with the cost of this new board??? If so, who to and how? I love Paypal, but can use the good old USPS if necessary.

Thanks again and GOD BLESS YOU!!

ps: my schedule is to be home from 7:00 on tomorrow night - use the cell phone cause I'll probably be on-line. I will be out of town Friday night and Saturday for a wedding. But, I'll have the cell phone on except for 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sat.
God Bless You

My two cents...

Postby Mike Vande » January 30th, 2003, 4:07 am

I don't know why, but for some reason the old Amboy Dukes song "Migration" keeps popping into my head...
Awesome job, Jeremy and Gary. And Jeremy, if I owe you an apology for things I said on the other board, I offer it now.

My only nit to pick is that I still miss the EA1 color scheme. I liked the red and gold. But this is nothing to throw rocks at; blue is actually my favorite color.

Well, away we go. I am with Michael, thanx for letting the ride continue, guys.

A nice warm blanket

Postby Paully_44 » January 30th, 2003, 4:58 am

You know that feeling when you are rudely awakened by the alarm, you fall out of bed, look outside and see the weather outside is dark and dank (ok, maybe that only happens to us Seattle-ites). All you want to do is jump back in bed where it is nice and warm and comfortable

Anyways,

I tend to lurk more than I post. Same in the real world, I tend to be more quiet than a conversationalist. Either way, this place feels comfortable.

Thanks to Jeremy and Pastor Gary for all the hours you put into this site. Looking forward to the future of Jude 2

I'm new here......

Postby preacherswife73 » January 30th, 2003, 6:09 am

used to see Pastor Gary on another board. Also posted with Shellie there. Followed them here. Hope you all don't mind. I am not COGOP, just plain COG. Hubby pastors in FL. Just needed another board to post to that seemed user friendly. Hope this is the one!!!!!!

Don't think that will be a problem here. I may be CoGoP now, but I have Baptist roots.

I lived in Oak Harbor for a spell... Many moons ago. :)

We used to throw firecrackers off the bridge at Deception Pass. Is it still there?

Hey, we must hve just missed each other. My ship went into the shipyards at Bremerton in December of 1980. I got saved on my ship but was baptized at Eastgate Assembly of God in Bremerton. The pastor, a neat guy named Bob Unruh, let our ship's chaplain use the sanctuary and baptismal on a Sunday night, and we all attended services there. I have very good memories of Washington state, and the scenery is not the least of it. We pulled into Puget Sound Shipyards on a clear, sunny morning, and the snow-covered Cascades were outrageous.
Thanx for the reminder.

I was actually born in Anacortes. Beautiful area those San Juan Islands. Yes, Deception Pass is still there and except for the occassional paint job, it probably looks excatly the same as it did.
