As soon as I posted this I got an update on Lola.

Baby Lola need prayers immediately! A team of Drs are in because she is struggling to breath. X-rays showed new growth in lungs, pneumonia is worse. She can't get the CO2 out. May have to put her on a ventilator

update, this update was posted by our pastor

Thank you all for your prayers! Lola is not out of the woods yet, but we are certain the Lord is keeping her and the family. Please pray for her fever to break, fluids to not build upon lungs and for her to be able to eat asap. She hasn't been cleared to eat from Sunday and the doctors are saying hopefully tomorrow

Update on Little Lady Lola... She has had a better day then her rough night last night.
Lowered oxygen throughout the day but fever spiked so they raised it back up. they got it to break and are are increasing fluids. She hasn't eaten for over 24hrs. Her heel prick was clean, so kidneys are ok for now. She is on double antibiotics for the pneumonia and the MRSA. The ultrasound of her lungs showed the fluid wasn't to a point that they needed to drain at this time. So things seem to be better, you can see her struggles to breath. Please continue to pray for healing.

Sweet Lola is being transferred tonight or in the morning to Duke. She is going to have a procedure on her left lung. Some of the pneumonia has formed hard pockets and they have to be broken up so she can get better.

Not a lot of changes, but they are continuing to slowly ween her off the ventilator. They completed the last dose of the meds into the chest tube, but they are hoping for more drainage so they won't remove the chest tube for a couple days. She is not out of the wood for a second or third lung procedure at this point, it all based on if she can breathe without the ventilator. They are also keeping her on the paralytic due to her continued attempts to remove the ventilator tubing. Thanks again to everyone for all the overwhelming support in our time of need.

Update thursday 1/15/15:
Good news first! EEG is clear. Brain waves are normal, no seizures.
She's still having crazy episodes with blood pressure and heart rate they switched her sedation again because she's continuing to break through. She seems to be resting better with the new one.
They believe they have found the culprit to her still needing the ventilator and the lack of progress weening her, they believe she may have contracted a cold! They are testing some of the secretions from her nose to verify. Also, I'm sure if that's the case, they will definitely have more speculation about her immune system.

Bad news first :
She's spiked a fever again. They are going to do some testing to try and find the culprit. They are also doing some testing to check for immune deficiencies. Lola has had thrush, a cold, pink eye, pneumonia, and MRSA, all in the last 14 days.

Good news:
She's breathing better so we are attempting weening again off the ventilator. They are cutting off her paralytic and cutting down the albuterol. Pray she tolerates it all well.
