Not that I agree but as a political onlooker I bet that Rand Paul would do well for the party as a whole.

At least his dad would break and do a Ross Perot.
What we need here is a good revival! lol

unfortunately our GOP-mindset of anyone but Obama and anyone but Biden, will probably lose the ballot for us.

now, don't get me wrong I vote based on a set of priorities that has little to do with partisan issues. but the unity that the liberal/left side (usually Dems) has will trump the conservative/right, since we have lack of unity and the division of libertarian-GOP-constitutional-independant vote makes our "bipartisan" way, really weak for us.

it is usually ends up being a vote for Dem, or a vote for one of two or three other parties, and the dems will majoritize over the other three conservatives.

I don't like it, no sir, I don't.

Tim Pawlenty couldn't gain any traction as a Presidential candidate so I am not sure about that one but he may make a good pick considering the region he is from and Romney needs to sway some votes in both Wisconsin and Michigan.

News Flash on Bob Corker: He is far from a conservative (not that Romney really is) but Tennesseans are fed up with him being on the wrong side of most issues. There is a Tea Party attempt to unseat Corker and early straw polls show that attempt will be highly successful, landslide like in a GOP Primary. Besides, Romney will have Tennessee locked up tight!

Huckabee won't accept is my opinion though I'd be happy with it. I've really grown to like him.

Rice is not a Conservative and has Pro-Choice leanings and tendencies. We need to rid our line-up of such individuals. She falls into the Gen. Powell camp in my opinion and it has nothing to do with the color of either's skin. They were both touted as Conservative but please recall who Powell endorsed in 2008; yep, Obama.

--------------------------------------------------------

Hopefully Bill Clinton's recent escapade in Moncao and being pictured with porn stars will derail any thoughts of replacing Biden with Hillary. The last thing Obama needs is Bill running around and all that commotion.

Well, I would take Rice or Powell either one for international policy matters. If we're talking in terms of spiritual values and moral issues, give me Palin.

Please just abstain from voting from here on out because that line of thinking gave us Barack Obama.

FQ, I realize that your comment was meant mostly in jest. However, as a veteran I find it to be offensive. I placed my life in "harms way" so that any citizen of the United States could speak their mind. and in our form of government that is done so by their vote.

Offended? Really Hoover? You stumbled and sinned because I asked Pastor Ables to abstain from voting? PLEASE!

Ables already suggested that he may abstain so you military guys ought to be offended that he would abstain since you put yourself in harm's way for him to vote which I appreciate dearly by the way.

TW & Hoover, Are you offended that he may abstain and neglect such a right?

Many folks in my family served in many wars including the War on terrorism in Iraq & Afghanistan, Panama, Korea (my granddad was almost in China he was so far North and froze his rear off), WW2, the War between the States (on both sides), and the Revolutionary War. My folks migrated here in 1622 from England and we are certainly American!

You guys should be offended that he is willing to sit back and allow Obama and his socialist, Marxist team to run this country in the ground and destroy everything that you men served for. Obama despises the military along with most Libs and will do his best to radically change this nation even further if he is re-elected WASTING, NULLIFYING, SHAMING every thing that any soldier, airman, sailor, or corpsman has ever served, fought, or died for.

As a Christian I reserve the right to ask another Christian, a pastor even, whether in jest or in all seriousness to NOT vote at all if he can only find it in his heart to support baby murderers and those that support a "woman's right to murder their babies".

Well, I think I've already made it clear that I will not vote for either candidate being offered and it has nothing to do with disrespecting our brave men and women in arms who I esteem highly for their many sacrifices.

However, I am somewhat disappointed in your futile attempt to egregiously frame my opinions for the express purpose of mischaracterizing my moral and spiritual values. And this based solely upon vain jangling on a message board debate?!

Really?

Blessings,
pa
