I opened one from your link. Looks good, but I don't know how useful for me. I'd hoped to be able to upload PDFs from my iPad to it, but you can't. I will, though, go back and upload to Dropbox from my laptop PC so I can access files on my iPad without having to email myself, which I do some now.

I have used Dropbox for a few years now. I have had enough of my friends to signup so I now have 7.2 gigabyte of storage. It is a great way to store files that you use at more then one location or computers. I use it mostly for storing sermons so I can open them wherever I may be.

Shellie, Its a CLOUD Account basically.

Dropbox is an online storage facility .
They give you 2 gig online for free. If you share your link with others as Pastor Gary has and you sign up thru his Link. He gets an additional xxx amount for each signup.

It appears that Pastor P has had 10 or more sign up. for he now has 7+gigs

It allows you to install Dropbox on Computer A.. 2 gig of space.
Then you Add Computer B.. to your account and now you can share the 2 gigs of space. What files you put in the dropbox account on PC A will be synchronized with PC B Automagically.. If you delete something off B it will delete off of A..

I use it on my Home Computer and Our Projection Computer at Church. When I complete the Sunday morning Visuals PPT etc I place them in my dropbox folder on my computer at home. When the Church computer is turned on all of my videos, clipart, jpgs, photos and PPTs are downloaded into the church dropbox folder.

ps you can sync up multiple computers also.. I setup an account for my daughters family.. All three teens got laptops for christmas and they share a Dropbox account for all 4 computers..

Done. Havent used it alot yet, but I can tell that with 3 iphones, 1 pad and 3 PC's, I'll be using it quite a bit....real soon.
