His daughter, Pam Pruitt Smith, posted this on his Facebook page:

Just wanted to let all of you know that my father...Raymond Pruitt is in the hospital. Sunday took him in with breathing problems. He had lost some kidney function. However, I am pleased to report that he has made improvement. His numbers for blood work and kidney function have gotten better. Praise the Lord! Today we begin physical therapy. Please continue to pray for him. They send their love.

Please keep Brother Raymond and Sister Aleda in your prayers....

on his Facebook page:

Latest update on dad: He is still in the hospital. Dad has a heart valve stenosis that is causing most of our major problems. He is not in able to have surgery for it. We have been asked to consider hospice since his prognosis is grim. He wanted me to be sure and put a message on FB for prayer. God is still in charge. We need your prayers.

What an incredable legacy he leaves...not only for the COGOP, but for the Body of Christ. A great man of knowledge, compassion, and integrity, and wisdom.

Victory won. Legacy lives on. Generations eternally impacted. There must have been a standing ovation when he entered Heaven's gates.

Some people are just go-to guys. His legacy of being that kind of man is already alive and driving lots of others. You can tell that someone's a leader when people are following. Obviously, that's what Bro. Pruitt did for many. God knows what He's doing when He calls, and when He welcomes home. My heart is big for the joy our brother now knows more than all of us.
