I have been licensed and ordained in the Church of God of Prophecy.

Very happy for you...congradulations... You certinaly are a man of great perserverance
You cannot effectively love and minister to others when you are obsessed with protecting
and preserving yourself.

Hey Brent, Just out of curiosity, what is the technical rank of your licensure via COGOP?

I ask because I note the word "ordained" in your OP, and I know in old school COGOP/TCOG that term carried a very selective application.

Either way, all differences aside, you endured long and hard to receive such recognition from your church of choice (and against the odds).
A true testament to your sense of loyalty, devotion, and commitment. :wink:

Ordained is equivelent with licensure in the COGOP, as I understand, and has been for some (relaively short) time now. The front of my ID card says Licensed, and my number. the back says ORDAINED MINISTER in the CHURCH OF GOD OF PROPHECY. The certificate itself says Minister's certificate.

This is to certify that (me) is hereby appointed and comissioned as a MINISTER in the Church of God of Prophecy and is entitled to the respect, rights, and privileges granted to ordained ministers of the Gospel...

However, with that said - I recieved my first packet of reports for my monthly reporting to the region, there is a blank that says "Rank:", I asked the Regional Overseer about it, and he said I should put "evangelist".

I think they were made at the regional office, or rather they had them made (the regional office address sticker is on the outside.), white, with yellow carbonless copies.
