chips

Postby Full Quiver » September 2nd, 2008, 9:12 am

What kind of chips do you tend to eat?

tater or corn

What specifically do you prefer?

I'll do either tater or corn. I like to try different stuff like now I am eating some McGraw's Spicy Jalapeno Fritos. I love Cool Ranch Doritos and the Jalapeno Pringles are good thought they aren't really potato chips.
I am only prejudice against cheese flavored chips though and will try most all others.

For me ... I like both, however not at the same time. :D When I eat corn chips I love to dip them in Hellmans mayo ... and when I eat tater chips .. they must be drug through the french onion & sour cream dip. And nothing goes better with chips than an ice cold coca cola! :D

Depends on what I'm eating with them, although I don't do potato chips as much, especially not plain UNLESS I can get my hands on some Mr Bees (Small potato chip company in Williamstown, WV that has the BEST chips around, my Mom grew up there and we get them every time we are back in that area in fact I have two bags in the truck right now my sister brought back while on vacation last week!)

They are the best but man are the greasey/oily  and you can only find them in WV.

I like both though.

Dude - you had me worried for a moment! I thought you
were going to tell me they were made from leftover
chicken organs or something.

They've got a lot of weird stuff in them - but still have
pototoes in them.

Love the flavor - but from a nutrition standpoint would
probably be as well off with a tub of Crisco & a straw!

The Lord leads me to choose Santitas white Corn Tortilla chips with the attractive Central American woman on the lable.

Well Frito-Lay pitched a fit and said Pringles were not really potato chips and got them banned from the chip aisle in stores. Of course we know that Frito-Lay practically owns the chip aisle in most stores.

I prefer potato chips. Lay's, Golden Flake, and that Cape Cod kettle cooked brand.

Whew! Sigh of relief! Speaking of not really potato chips -
and lack of nutritional value - what about some good ole' BBQ
Pork Rinds! Don't ever want to watch them make them - but love
to eat them!

Are they as popular in other parts of the country? I've noticed
in traveling that it's hard to find them in some areas.

I worked in rent-to-own in college. Had a customer who made his own. Every Saturday out behind his house in a big ol barrel of grease. Man, those things were good.
