Another choice?

Postby Pastor Gary » March 20th, 2003, 6:11 pm

You could have added one additional choice:
"I could care less."

Sorry, but it's difficult for me to get excited about tall men throwing a round ball through a hoop in the context of current events.
"God is excited to show you mercy. He rises to give you His compassion." (Isaiah 30:18)

"For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield." (Psalm 5:12)

No offense, Pastor G, but you don't live in Kentucky (at least in the Big Blue area of it). It makes a difference.

Of course, the war is the 1st topic of discussion lately - and the three teenagers killed in our area the other day - but it usually comes around to the Wildcats eventually - if you talk long enough.

Just a few thoughts

Postby TC » March 26th, 2003, 1:38 pm

First Kenya I did see the RED.

JUST ONE PET PEEVE. Some have said there should have been an option "I could care less" .... THAT IS WRONG it should be " I could NOT care less" ... When you say you could care less it means you do care and you are a LEVEL of care and it is possible for you to care less. On the other hand when you say "you couldn't care less" it mean you level of car is SO LOW you ARE incapable of caring less

NOW Kenny never forget 12/28/03, DO we call Mickie Demoss a traitor and little blue bad sports for hiring a coach from their biggest rival??? (not even from a PRO team ... directly from the school)

I see LPT (louisvilles Play thing)getting to the final four, like everyone has said they have the weakest bracket. If all the big boys get knocked off by then, then they should ride, but in my heart I still think they will fall, If they had lost one of the close ones at the end then they would be in a little better place.

Some speak of blue but we are already working on taking care of the doughboy.

On those that state there are more important things then Basketball, Yes that is true but there are mor important things then sitting on the net all night or whatever "things" you might like to do. Let people have fun (even if some do it watching the kitty cats)

Kenya and Joey I Love you guy (even if you are blue) Thanks for the prayers

Pastor Gary, I guess I see it a little different. I see it as a sense of normalcy in a topsy-turvy time. It helps me to balance out the serious emotions. Does that make sense?
There never was a horse that couldn't be rode and there never was a cowboy that couldn't be throwed.

At this point in BAMA history, we're thankful for whoever will have us. What can I say, gotta stay true to the team.

I've seen this Tide roll a few oranges in my time. Don't count us out yet, we've got the best team money could buy.

Michael,

That wouldn't happen to be the infamous final game when I believe it was Christian Latner stepped on one of the UK player's chest and held him down?

I hated that game! :x

We lost to them at the last moment. Bad bad bad game.

How quickly we must enter reality.
I suppose the UK boys just ran out of gas...a 26 game streak ain't bad though. 8)
