So...here I am on a Monday evening being bored.

Tell us your favorite vegetable character from that cool show.

How could any true Veggie Tales fan post a Poll such as this and NOT include JR Asparagus, as he is the most obvious choice! :)

Actually, I was thinking of Junior Asparagus but changed it to Archibald before posting.

Bonus points if anyone knows the origin of the CowboyNeal option. :P

So why does Junior have to share an option with Archibald? Junior is probably my favorite, of course Bob and Larry are great, but Junior doesn't get much credit!

Hey by the way how many prefer the countertop opening and closing of the show much better than the jump right into everything style of Esther and the Movie?

I like the countertop opening. It just sets the mood and captivates my two year old.
I'm almost embarrased to say that my four year old knows almost every word of every video. I just had to chase him off the veggie website to come on here.

We bought "Where's God when I'm s-s-scared" when my son was about to turn 2, anything that can capture a 2 year olds attention and hold it for even a half hour is great, but solid Biblical messages sounded great.

My son actually would watch it over and over back to back for HOURS at time! We immediatly told everyone to buy him Veggietales for his upcoming birthday just so we could get some variety! The song "Oh no, what are we going to do" just kept running over and over through our heads in full three part polyphony.

I do too and my kids are pre-teens.

"Oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh wherrrrrrrrreeeeeeee...is my hairbrush?"

I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing! Galatians 2:21

Gerald you are missing out, don't think veggies are just for kids, A friend of mine had bought all the videos, and a few stuffed toys before his daughter was born, if anyone mentions all Ashley's veggietale stuff, he will correct them, though he has been told by his wife that he has to share!

Honestly they are cute, and the humor will get to adults to. borrow one from your friend you'll be glad you did.

Isn't CowboyNeal the name of a guy who posts a lot of Linux articles on SlashDot forums??

(At first I thought of Cowboy Curtis, the guy from the old PeeWee's Playhouse shows, but...)
"God is excited to show you mercy. He rises to give you His compassion." (Isaiah 30:18)

"For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield." (Psalm 5:12)

Right. CowboyNeal (real name: Pater) is one of the Slashdot editors. He is also the somewhat humorous option on the polls over there.

Now, Cowboy Curtis is one I havn't heard about. I do remember PeeWee's Playhouse, though.

So does that mean Gary gets the bonus points, and I can't? :(

I knew who it was too! :)

And it looks like someone finally eradicated the ballot box stuffer. :P
