First cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also.

When a guy pulls out of a car wash and hits the road, other drivers may think he looks pretty spiffy in his shiny SUV. But only he knows the condition of the interior. Actually, he is only half aware of it; he may recognize that the dash is dusty, God alone knows everything that is hidden under the seat.
God is concerned not only with your behavior but also with your heart. When you invite the Holy Spirit into your life he will do a thorough detailing job on you. If you allow the Holy Spirit total indwelling to your inner being, he will help you clean up all your private thoughts and deep rooted attitudes, and you"ll experience a freedom you've never know before.
You may already know, it is impossible to clean out your heart on your own. The power to purify your heart comes directly from Jesus's death on the cross and is given to you by God's Spirit. He will show you everything in your heart that needs to go and enable you to get rid of it.
Ask God to clean out your heart and be willing to let go of impure thoughts.
You will enjoy the benefits and freedom of Holiness
