What are some alternative software titles to Micro$oft Movie Maker? I am strongly considering switching away from MM.

Daniel, I will admit I have not done much with M-MMaker. But MS does have another freebie called Photo Story. Can be found here

Now if you are realy using Video clips etc.. then I do not know of a freebie. As an entry level package I would recommend
Uleads Video Studio 10.. I have Video Studio 7se that I got as a freebie with my firewire card. (It also entitles me to the upgrade price) I played with vs 9 last year and liked it.. had some kewl features.. Ullead website is here..
