OK...my two cents:
The fact that many of the actors in the movie were not professionals did show in the movie. (they appeared to be reading cue cards) And some of the emotional scenes were rather flat.
The story line was great in some spots but really flat in others...coulda used a little help. Many of the scenarios were very real to life where others were obviously phony.
All in all it was a good movie. Not something to take children (teenagers) to see. But any college age child would learn well from some of the themes in this movie.
Considering the budget they had to work with...decent job!!!
Could it have been done better with some of the rough spots ironed out?
Probably so.
Avoid it because of the "rough spots"?
Definately not!
A complete "Chick Flick"?
No...failed marriages can happen to anyone at anytime at any anniversary "level".
I want to die like Grandpa, quietly and in his sleep; not like the passengers in his car, they were all panicking and screaming.
