Have you seen it? We were able to see it last Thursday but I wasn't able to post a review until this Tuesday due to the media embargo. I thought it was pretty good, although I only recommend with caution. Check out my review:

I saw it. I was a bit disappointed. I read your review. You do some good writing. I'm thinking that maybe I'm a little too critical.

I could easily see why people wouldn't like it, so that doesn't mean you're critical, I don't think. I could be on the fence but, for the most part, movies have me at "hello." Most of the time, I just enjoy being there and give them 100 to start with. Especially if it's a free screening.

I too normally LOVE movies. It is still as magical to me as it was when I was a child. Sometimes I am completely captivated. There's just something surreal about them. How did you get into the position of writing movie reviews? Do you write stuff other than movie reviews and how did that kinda thing come about?

Actually most of what I write is stuff other than movie reviews (news stories, features and book reviews). For movie reviews, I did one when a friend got in a pinch and just kept going from there. I enjoy it. I try to come up with a few main points while I'm watching and then flesh it out when I get back to a computer.
