Re: Best Thing to Happen to You Since Last Time

In the last 12 years? Still living in southeast GA, I have 2 more kids (4 in total now) and a lot more grey. I'm still serving in the local church, now as worship leader and with my wife an another couple in children's ministry.

Re: Happy Birthday, Jude2!

Jude2 has had an impact on my life for sure, and I was shocked at the Assembly this past year when someone walked up to me an knew me from here. We may never know in this life how many lives the discussions here have impacted, I pray they have all been and will continue to be a good impact.

Yes it is still a valuable resource. I have made many friendships here and at that other message board, some of which I'm not friends with on any social networks. With the demands of my life, job, ministry, family, and school, I don't check in here near as often as I once did, but I still manage at ...

Just what Brantley County needs....

This is causing a bit of a stir around here. It's definitely not what most of us locals want. I just hope and pray we don't have any real problems with it. They say they're "peaceful" but knowing how tempers can flair while they may not "start" anything, I'd be surprised if we do...

My wife makes a really good brunswick stew, but I'm not sure what her recipe is. I know she uses pork and chicken in it.... She's been busy putting all of her recipes on the computer lately, I'll have to see if it's one she's already done.

I've always had good luck with Motorola radios. If you have a license for business band use the MT1000 can be purchased fairly cheap and is a reliable radio. I have one that I use for HAM radio repeaters in the area.

President: Longer school days, shorter summer vacation = more indoctrination You mean like this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zrsl8o4ZPo&annotation_id=annotation_915443&feature=iv As a school employee who is already being furloughed 3 days this year, they're gonna have a hard time convin...

If you need more than one opinion I'd be willing to help out. I do all the buying for our school system, by the time we stop using them they're not worth selling though.

It's UGA, you expect to find somebody who knows how to spell in Athens?

It's actually to point out the pronunciation since "How 'bout them Dog's?" just doesn't sound right. At least that's my guess.

Ga vs Ga Tech (How bout them Dawgs?)

I haven't been on much lately, and this is the first chance I've had to get to a computer since Saturday. But I just had to post a little something about it for KB. Yeah I know it's been 7 years, so I have to rub it in a little. Overall a good close game, Georgia was just plagued by the same bad luc...

Firestarter 2008

I just wanted to give a quick report about the youth rally last night. I believe the turnout was around 600-700. Things went really well, and by then end of the night everyone was asking when we were going to have the next one. The kids seemed to respond well to the groups and the ministers that wer...
