CoGoP's loss is their gain--I personally feel that he will impact the Kingdom of God more than we could have ever imagined. I rejoice in his position and see nothing but positive outcomes for ORU under his leadership.

So far we have raised over $2600.00 for this project. We decided to kick it off on Mother's Day--what better day to talk about saving children--we will continue to collect through the end of the May so we may be closer to $3000.00 when it's all said and done.

I guess I just don't get how a General Overseer--whoever he or she (did you like that new twist?) may be has little if any impact on any local church. I was struck by the fact that Bishop Leonard said that "old pastors" need to know when to step aside but he never said anything about "old overseers" stepping aside.

I also agree with the extended family introductions--it is a very dated and unnecessary tradition.
