I took a few minutes to look around in the settings today. I discovered that the avatar size limit was some unbelievably low number that even PhotoShop couldn't achieve. I reset that and was able to change my photo. Give it a shot now.

The software has changed (a lot) since the board went dormant. We are all in a learning curve. My photo is SERIOUSLY out of date.
